Latency
Latency is the time delay between when a video frame is captured at the source and when it is displayed on the viewer's screen.
In live IPTV, latency is the total delay from the original broadcast to the subscriber's screen. This includes encoding, transport, and decoding delays. Typical IPTV latency ranges from 2-30 seconds depending on the delivery protocol.
