Uplink
An uplink is the transmission of signals from a ground station to a satellite for broadcasting.
Broadcast uplinks send content to satellites for wide-area distribution. Uplink facilities use high-power transmitters and large dishes to send signals to geostationary satellites at specific orbital positions.
