IPTV middleware is the software platform that manages the subscriber experience, including channel navigation, EPG, VOD, and interactive features.
Middleware acts as the bridge between the headend/content and the subscriber. It handles authentication, channel lineup management, EPG display, recording (nPVR), catch-up TV, and user interface rendering on STBs and apps.
